Mark Bind created a new topic New Business Accelerator in the forums.
I am looking for some feedback on a series of workshops aimed at helping small business owners increase sales and margins.
Would you benefit from having:
- More ways to generate leads
- Converting more of your leads into sales
- Having a clearer understanding on who your ideal customer is
- Finding out how to get your customers to choose you over your competition
- Increasing the number of times your customers buy from you and increasing the amount they spend each time
- Having a bigger Gross Margin Percentage?
What else would you like to focus on in a workshop?
Please make suggestions, and I’ll see if I can incorporate them.
Thanks,
Mark

Mark Bind replied to the topic Re: How far do you have to go to get new business in the forums.
For many small business owners the question is how far will you go to achieve your dreams...
When you are starting out you should spend about 80% of your working time on marketing/new business activities. The importance of marketing during the first few months is underestimated!
I am always suprised with how little my clients are acually doing to attract leads. Most businesses rely on only 1 or 2 channels for attracting leads. Work on getting more!
Then work on converting the leads you get!

Mark Bind created a new topic Lead Generation Survey in the forums.
How about a quick survey on lead generation channels?
This will help everyone find new ways of generating leads! (Something almost everyone seems to want right now!)
Post a reply stating the source of your last 3 new business leads.
For me:
1. Referal via Linkedin
2. Socialmedia - Twitter
3. A referal from a current client

I would suggest looking at all the ways in which you could generate leads...
Advertising, Networking, Social media, etc etc..
I help most of my clients come up with at least 10 ways to generate more leads.
It is very important that you keep track of where your leads are coming from!
step two is to convert those leads. Or at least a high percentage of them.
One further thing - To help you with your lead generation, you need to understand your typical client!

Thanks Abraham,
The best thing is I love my work!
I started a business in London 6 years ago, and If I had used a coach, we would've grown so much faster!
now I get to help other entrepreneurs build and grow!
