The first time Trish Holdengarde saw her new home, Proud Acres, from the front seat of a small plane, she never dreamt that this sprawling cattle farm would become the catalyst for a whole new way of life. She could know that the farm and its gentle inhabitants would guide her towards accepting the one gift she’d been forced to deny since childhood: her extraordinary intuition. This is Trish Holdengarde’s story. It’s the story of a woman with a remarkable talent.
When she moved to the cattle farm Proud Acres in KwaZulu-Natal, her life was at one of its lowest ebbs. Her marriage was in tatters. Her self esteem was at an all-time low. Drawing on every ounce of her courage, she assumed the almost unheard of position of a woman managing her own cattle farm, from no prior agricultural experience, whilst her pilot husband flew around the world. Her natural intuitive ability had made its presence strongly felt when she was a child, yet she had repressed this gift in an attempt to fit in with those around her.
Now she was forced to listen to her inner voice and to trust the gentle rhythms of the cattle, her partners on her journey towards self-knowledge. A newspaper article written about Trish’s remarkable intuitive work brought her to the attention of the public. Suddenly she was in great demand: for healing, as a public speaker and as an intuitive coach. It even led to her being asked to establish a sanctuary and wellness centre in one of the most upmarket Boutique Hotel and Spas in the country. Eventually her intuition guided her into creating her Intuitive Business consultancy. In her talk, Trish explores what intuition is, how it communicates to us and the benefits of working with your own intuition for key decision making, innovation and accessing your true potential. Using her farming experience as a case study in business, Trish shares her knowledge of how the power of intuition enabled her to make suitable decisions, whilst facing daily challenges in an unknown environment. Trish has established the first ever Business Intuition practice in this country. She is constantly employed by business, entrepreneurs and individuals throughout South Africa where she consults and provides high value intuitive information that is beyond analytical data and experience. Trish is particularly passionate about helping entrepreneurs, by demystifying intuition and teaching them to develop their innate intuition. Trish's story is more than a single woman’s tale of her life and her work. It is an inspirational guide on how to live your life with integrity and wholeness.
