A courier service is a good business to get in to,but it takes a lot of hard work and long hours.

Just want to make you aware of the Courier Guy franchise.A mate of mine bought a Courier Guy franchise a year back.He paid R120 000-00 for the Courier Guy franchise.

It was one of the biggest mistakes of his life.The income that he makes from his courier guy franchise barely is enough to cover his running expenses.
He has'nt been able to take a salary.
Some months when he makes extra money,the courier guy franchisor,looks for little mistakes that he has made,so that they can deduct money from him.

There is nothing that he can do about it,because the courier guy has a signed agreement which they have with the courier guy franchisee,which allows them to do what they want and get away with it.

So,If you are looking for a courier service franchise,it is good to do extensive research,before you sign and based on my mates bad decision beware of the courier guy franchise.

I'd agree that a courier can easily be turned into a successful business; I have seen many people do it.

Once important point is to be very careful with the staff you employ; when I was in retail, many couriers lost my business because of rude, unfriendly staff (they are obviously not paid very well and are easily disgruntled!)
