Ok be nice now this is a homemade site

My brother in-law put it together. I'm quite happy with the pic's well I sort of have to be as that’s my doing. We put it out there more as an online catalogue than a sales point. I use it to show off or styles to customers who call me. We don’t have a shop as such so this was a great solution.

I would love to add a shopping cart at a later stage.
What you think ?

the site looks ok. It's def not on a professional level, but as a home made site it does the job.

One major problem is that the content ( text) on the home page is in fact not text, but an image.

The search engines will not be able to read this - that means that your site will not rank anywhere.

Another tip that your brother may be able to implement is writing a good title tag.

He must look for <title>Home</title>

Instead of home he should use keywords, for example:

Knitwear | Cotton | Knitted Garments etc

EDIT: Implementing those changes will improve search engine rankings.

I would love to do this by myself so I don't have to hassel him every time I have to change a price or add a new design..
